Moodle User Group

The Moodle User Group has been established to encourage sharing and professional collaboration between Institutes who are exploring the use of Moodle for teaching and learning.

• The Moodle User Group meets in a dedicated Adobe Connect Meeting Room
• The Next Meeting will be in the above room on the the last Monday of the month @ 1pm

MUG MyCommunity

The MUG has a community page on the MyCommunity tool, available via the MyTAFE portal. This is currently a trial and is only accessible to a select number of participants.

The MUG MyCommunity facilitates the group to network and share information. EdNA resources, relating to Moodle, can be discovered on the site. Participants can create RSS feeds, and share these with the wider group.

• 29 September 2009 - Adrian Norman, from Androgogic Pty Ltd, presenting the Mahara ePortfolio system, and strategies on how it could be used within Moodle. Also discussed was a rundown on issues raised at the recent Moodleposium at the University of Canberra on 8 September.

• 30 November 2009 - Rory O'Brien on hosting Moodles, and creating and styling your themes. A round-the-table showcase of Moodle progress this year. Paulis
  Discuss configuration and set up of Moodle Servers as well as Pros & Cons of various plug-ins that each Institute is currently using.
