Projects

TAFE NSW Networks undertake a range of projects and collaborative activities, which occur both from a state-wide perspective, and also within various Institutes. These include projects such as the Applying New Technologies Project and several projects with the Centre for Learning and Innovation (CLI).

Professional Development Programs

The FLN have identified a need to collaborate on the development of professional development programs such as Child Protection, Occupational health and safety etc. This site will provide a space for sharing and developing.

Wireless 4TAFE

This is a TAFE NSW project working with five Institutes.

This project will involved the FLN working together to develop strategies, tools and plans for migrating resources from Janison.

TAFE eLearning Systems

TAFE eLearning Systems (TELS), formerly TAFE Online 2 or TOL2, has been supporting staff in TAFE NSW Institutes to trial, evaluate and embed the use of new & emerging technologies through the sub projects Access to New Technologies (ANT1) and Applying New Technologies (ANT2). 

ANT 1

With an emphasis on teaching and learning, TAFE NSW Institutes trialed and evaluated a range of new and emerging technologies through the first ANT (Access to New Technologies) Project (2006/07).

ANT 2

The Applying New Technologies (ANT2) Project (2008) aimed to build on the achievements of the Access to New Technologies Project with a focus more on embedding the use of technologies in teaching and learning practice.

The project objectives support a variety of strategic imperatives that meet TAFE NSW 21st Century Project priorities, including the Workforce Development Guarantee objectives.
