Vocational Education & Training (VET)
The Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector consists of many Registered Training Organisations (RTO) such as TAFE, delivering training to various business and enterprises. The VET sector is an exciting and diverse sector that is constantly changing. Each RTO must comply with the various standards and procedures administered by the governing bodies such as ISO, AQTF and VETAB in order to maintain their RTO status. Bodies such as the Industry Skills Councils work with Industry groups and RTO's to develop training packages that are current and match the skill sets required to each particular industry.
