APSC Detailed Leadership Descriptors

A comprehensive behavioural mapping of Leadership Capabilities across the six levels of the Australian Public Service. The areas of capability identified are broadly similar to Sydney Institute's 3 broad areas of Vision, Integrity and Effectiveness.  Of particular value is the way the document identifies:

  • The levels at which NEW behaviours need to be demonstrated
  • The levels at which capabilities already introduced need to be demonstrated at a more complex stage.

External Programs

A range of providers offering off the shelf training, residential programs, customised training.  This is by no means an exclusive list!  For more links see also The Leadership Library pages. As there are far too many of these organisations for any one person to keep tabs on we welcome comments, reviews, evaluations of these pages.  If you feel that any of these sites may offer something of particular value please either comment in the Leadership blog, or email Workforce Development and we will include your comments and recommendations.
