myLearning
Welcome to the myLearning wiki, the home of the Workforce Development network. Here you can access information on all the programs, projects and services provided for staff across the institute.
myLearning is not a website rather it's based on a wiki platform which enables content pages to be written collaboratively using a web browser. Once logged in (using your domain profile you use to log into your computer) any DET staff member is able to both edit existing pages and create new ones. To learn more about how to use the platform see the MediaWiki Help under the site tools section on the left hand navigation. For information on wiki culture and an ongoing collaboration around the guidelines for participating in this wiki community see the Terms of use pages on the left hand menu.
The vision is to form an active online community across the institute which engages staff in collaborative conversations, resource creation and sharing.
The aim of this strategy is to connect staff by sharing information and resources and encouraging us to contribute and enhance the resources available. This will support the Life Based Learning philosophy by allowing staff choices on how they access information and resources ie if they cannot attend a workshop or activity then they will be able to view resources presented and if applicable audio recordings of presenters.
