Our space: harnessing Facebook for learning experiences

Facebook is a Social Networking service with over 600 million users globally. As a result Facebook has huge potential as an educational tool, this workshop aims to show you how to harness this potential. We start with the basics of how to set up an profile, understanding and setting appropriate privacy setting to how you can use facebook with students as part of your teaching & learning strategy.
Facebook is used daily by hundreds of millions of people across the planet including the majority of students at TAFE. What better way to further engage learners than incorporating Facebook within your own teaching methods.
This workshop will demonstrate how Facebook can be used as a teaching and learning tool.
