Adobe Connect Pro
This one hour program has been developed to introduce participants to the web-conferencing tool Adobe Connect. It is an overview with supporting resources. Adobe Connect will be used in multiple ways in the Learning Technology Mentor Program to give participants a sense of how it can be implemented and so they can develop confidence in using the tool.
Adobe Presenter and Captivate
This half-day workshop provides hands skills in the use of Adobe Captivate and Presenter to produce engaging online resources to enhance teaching and learning.

This is a 2 hour session to give participants an overview of how new technologies can be used to customise learning programs to make them more learner focused, engaging and flexible.

This session provide opportunity to participants to develop skills to use basic features of the Moodle to enhance the learning and teaching. The major focus of this one hour session will introduce you an overview of the Moodle.
Logging onto Wireless Networks
This session will provide participants with a quick guide to connection to both the Sydney Institute Wireless Network, and external wireless connections (such as home, wifi hotspots etc). During the session well will also experiment will mobile devices.

Sydney Institute Wikis, Blogs and Learning Management Systems
The purpose of this session is to ensure that Learning Technology Mentors are aware of the the wikis, blogs and learning management systems that are available at Sydney Institute and how they can be utilised.

Visioning Session One
This session will provide an opportunity to develop and articulate a personal vision for the role of a Learning and Technology Mentor (LTM).
Visioning Session Two
In this session we will consider how the LTMs are feeling after the technology program and their role as LTMs.
Web 2.0 Technologies
This session will provide an overview of a range of freely available Web 2.0 technologies which can be used for teaching and Learning. Participants will gain an overview of some simple strategies which allow for content creation, aggregation and collaborative publising.
