Workforce Development Projects
Workforce Development is involved in managing and supporting a variety of different projects, nationally and state funded projects and projects instigated within the Institute. For example, we have been involved in national projects such as the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (AFLF), state projects ie Access to New Technologies (ANT)and Institute projects such as myBusiness, Mentoring and the Leadership Project.

It is important that you note the the closing dates for applications as they differ.
When choosing which funding source to develop a submission for consider your capacity ie Flexible Learning Toolboxes require a high level of technical expertise. Also ensure you follow the following guidelines and get the support of your line managers. This is to confirm that projects meet the directions set out in the Sydney Institute Annual Plan 2010 (make sure you read this and understand the key initiatives for the Institute). If you fail to do this you project may not be endorsed (each project must be signed off by the Institute Director).
The most popular source of funding under AFLF are the NSW component of the E-learning Innovations projects
