Resource Development Kits
Background
2007
In May 2007 the TAFE Online Stage 2 (TOL2) Steering Committee approved a proposal to fund further Institute investment in technologies. The equipment or services to be purchased should be from the technologies trialled as part of the TOL2 Access to New Technologies (ANT) project during 2006/2007.This proposal provides an opportunity to expand and embed new practices that have been beneficial to delivery of educational services through the ANT project.Each Institute was funded approximately $65,000 to meet costs of hardware, software, installation and training. This funding was expended at the end of the (06/07) financial year.

Each College (and cluster) has received a new technology kit which is housed in the library at each College.
2010
In June 2010 the TAFE eLearning Systems (TeLS) program provided funding for the VLE Project. A range of new equipment has been purchased and added to the existing kit and will be available for loan from college libraries as of Oct 2010.
