Purpose
By participating in this program you will learn the power of social software using Blogs and Wikis and how they can be used for creating effective collaborative online spaces that can be accessed and syndicated through the new SydNet (Intranet)

Learning outcomes
At the end of this session participants will:
- Understand how wikis and blogs as social software tools differs from a website & a LMS/CMS eg. Moodle Janison
- Be aware that Media Wiki, Wikispaces and WordPress are being employed by SI and understand when and how each is being used
- Understand the basic difference between Mediawiki & Wikispaces
- Understand the process of setting up a blog or wiki and the PD workshops offered by LI
- Be aware of the terms and conditions surrounding the use of Blog/Wikis within SI
