This session will include a discussion and overview of collaborative tools including wikis and blogs.

Topics covered will include:

  • What is a collaborative teaching & Learning
  • Forming learning communities
  • 21st Century Collaborative teaching tools wikis, blogs and RSS
  • Application of these tools to teaching and learning
  • Best practice examples
  • Accessing Sydney Institute Wikispaces and blogs

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the session participants should have:

  • Identify the use of wikis and blogs as collaborative tools
  • Discuss the use of these tools in teaching and learning
  • Describe examples of good practice
  • Outline how to access these tools at Sydney Institute
