Workforce Development Guarantee 2009/2010
Overview
The TAFE NSW Workforce Development Guarantee is a commitment to invest additional resources in developing staff capabilities linked to competencies from national qualifications. Within the TAFE NSW Workforce Development guarantee the six capability areas identified are:
*delivering workforce development services to enterprises
*using technologies to do business
*meeting the needs of diverse learners
*interpreting and customising Training Packages
*leadership
*sustainability
The Sydney Institute implementation of the Workforce Development Guarantee applies to all permanent, temporary staff and part-time casual teaching and administrative and support staff.

What are the costs?
Under the Workforce Development Guarantee there will be no cost to staff for enrolment in a Sydney Institute TAFE course related to teh six capability areas including where recognition is sought. Staff will need to invest time in attendance at workshops and in gaining the knowledge and collecting evidence required for recognition and assessment. <br><br>

Workforce services teams
This program is aimed at the development of a College-based workforce services team in the area of delivering workforce development services to enterprises.
Recognition services
This program is aimed at Staff who have undertaken a range of professional development activities and Staff aspiring to and/or undertaking leadership roles
